1. What Sharp is

Sharp (the "Service", accessible at getsharp.tech) is a self-service interview-preparation tool for finance students. The Service provides practice questions, AI-assisted grading, escalating follow-up questions, and progress tracking. The Service is operated by Built Ventures LLC ("we", "us", "our"), a Delaware limited liability company.

Sharp is an educational tool. It is not financial advice, investment advice, recruiting advice, employment guidance, or a guarantee of any interview, internship, or job outcome.

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account, accessing the Service as an anonymous user, or paying for a Season Pass, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Sharp. If you are between 16 and 18, you confirm that you have a parent or guardian's permission to use the Service and to enter into any paid Season Pass.

3. Accounts

Account creation requires a valid email address and a confirmation step. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Account sharing is not permitted; the Service is licensed per individual user.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, mirror, or systematically copy Sharp content (questions, rubrics, feedback, walkthroughs);
• republish, resell, or sublicense Sharp content;
• use Sharp to train or fine-tune any machine-learning model;
• circumvent paywalls, quota limits, or anti-abuse measures;
• use Sharp to harass, deceive, or defraud third parties;
• upload content that is unlawful or that infringes third-party rights.

5. Payments and Season Pass

Sharp's paid offering is a 90-day Season Pass priced at €79, in euros, processed by Stripe. Stripe Tax applies any local VAT or sales tax at checkout based on your billing location. There is no auto-renewal; the Season Pass lapses at the end of its 90-day window and does not silently re-bill.

6. Intellectual property

All Sharp content (questions, rubrics, walkthroughs, code, copy, the Sharp wordmark) is owned by Built Ventures LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Sharp content for your personal interview preparation only.

Answers you submit remain yours. By submitting an answer, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to process, grade, store, and analyze it for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. We do not sell your submitted answers and we do not use them to train third-party models.

7. Termination

You may stop using Sharp at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, payment failures, or actions we reasonably believe are harmful to the Service or to other users. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as set out in the Refund Policy.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Sharp is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated grading is best-effort and may contain errors; you should not rely on Sharp as a sole source of preparation for any high-stakes decision.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Built Ventures LLC's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost interview opportunities, lost job offers, or lost earnings.

10. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence grants you the right to sue in your local courts.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email to active Season Pass holders and posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
