Refund Policy

Short version

If you have not started any graded session within your Season Pass, email hello@getsharp.tech within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. Once you have started a graded session, the Season Pass is non-refundable, but if a technical failure on our side prevented you from using it, we will refund pro-rata. Please contact us before initiating a chargeback; we resolve almost anything by email.

The detail

1. Pre-access refund (14-day window)

If you have not started any graded session within your 90-day Season Pass, you may request a full refund by emailing hello@getsharp.tech within 14 days of purchase. We will refund within 10 business days to the original payment method.

2. EU 14-day right of withdrawal: digital-content waiver

Under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m) and equivalent UK consumer-protection regulations, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content once performance has begun with the consumer's express prior consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal will thereby be lost.

By starting any graded session within your Season Pass period, you expressly consent to immediate performance of the Service and you acknowledge that you waive the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m).

This waiver is also confirmed at the Stripe Checkout step. If you have purchased the Season Pass but not yet started a graded session, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal still applies under Section 1 above.

3. Technical-failure refund (pro-rata)

If a technical failure on our side prevents you from using the Service for a meaningful period (for example, an outage longer than 24 hours, or a grading subsystem that returns errors on every submission), we will refund pro-rata for the affected days. Email hello@getsharp.tech with the symptom, the approximate time window, and your account email; we cross-check against our incident logs and process the refund within 10 business days.

4. Chargebacks

Please email us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks cost us a fixed dispute fee regardless of outcome and are slow to resolve; almost any legitimate refund request is faster handled directly. If you initiate a chargeback before contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account during the dispute.

5. Free preview drill

The 3-question anonymous preview drill on the landing page is free of charge and not subject to refund.

6. Promotional or granted Season Passes

Season Passes granted free of charge (e.g., as part of a beta-cohort promotion to a university club) carry no refund right because no payment was taken. Such grants may be revoked if the Acceptable Use clause of the Terms of Service is breached.
